Apta Pramana Source：
Hathatatvakaumudi (Chapter 10, Verse 23)
Original Verse：
"आमुह्यघोणार्धमधोविभागे यद्रेचपूरौ विदधाति तिष्ठन् ॥
स एष कुम्भो गदितो विधात्रा नाम्नापकर्षः प्रणवात्मनाऽयम् ॥ २३ ॥"
Transliteration：
"āmuhyaghoṇārdhamadhovibhāge yadrecapūrau vidadhāti tiṣṭhan ॥
sa eṣa kumbho gadito vidhātrā nāmnāpakarṣaḥ praṇavātmanā'yam ॥ 23 ॥"
Translation：
"Closing one nostril, one does inhalation and exhalation steadily. This is Aparksa Kumbhaka propagated by the creator which is of the nature of pranava."
