Original Verse
"अथ वीरासनम् एकं पादं तथैकस्मिन् विन्यस्योरुणि संस्थितम्॥ इतरस्मिंस्तथा चोरुं वीरासनमुदीरितम्॥ ७॥"
Transliteration
"atha vīrāsanam ekaṁ pādaṁ tathaikasmin vinyasyoruṇi saṁsthitam ॥ itarasmiṁstathā coruṁ vīrāsanamudīritam ॥ 7 ॥"
Translation
One foot is placed on the opposite thigh and the other foot under the opposite thigh. This is virasana. 7
Instruction
"1. Sit with one foot on top of the opposite thigh. 2. Place the other foot under the other thigh."
