CARBON FOOTPRINT A carbon footprint corresponds to the whole amount of greenhouse gases (GHG) produced to, directly and indirectly, support a person’s lifestyle and activities. The carbon footprint is a very important means to understand the impact of a person’s behavior on global warming.

This shows an average person's carbon footprint with food consumption resulting in the most emission of carbon dioxide. The diet one follows is very important especially when calculating the carbon footprint of an individual. For instance
