Title

Launch of Ananda Proksha in AdiKailash

Narration

04 July 2003 - The Avatar launched 'Ananda Proksha', a one-year free residential learning program for youth for enlightened living. It was in the enlightenment ecosystem of Adi Kailash Nithyananda Peetham, Bengaluru. The program taught a lifestyle as prescribed by Paramashiva, the Primal Hindu God, in the sacred Hindu scriptures 'The Agamas'.

The Avatar's Divine Mission for humanity was to revive SHRIKAILASA - The enlightened civilization that existed eons ago on Planet Earth. Towards this goal He launched this program and worked tirelessly through it.

It covered all components of a conscious lifestyle such as an early morning spiritual routine starting from authentic practice of Yoga, Puja (worship), scriptural learning, satvic food, traditional clothing, and above all, imbibing the great Cosmic Truths directly from the Living Incarnation - The Avatar, which was the ancient system of knowledge transmission called the 'Gurukul'. He offered it completely free to inspire people to experiment with it. Such was His sacrifice at a time He was building the mission brick by brick.

The program sessions happened in the Laughing Temple, the historic first structure erected by The Avatar on the sacred land of AdiKailash. He built it with His own hands, as a small circular thatched roof structure supported by four wooden poles with a circular parapet wall forming the base circle. It is from this humble structure He started guiding seekers for enlightened living.

From The Laughing Temple The Avatar gave audience to whoever came to Him - disciples, devotees, visitors or prominent members of society from any part of the world. The structure had no side walls and brought in rain easily. The Avatar sat here tirelessly, guiding individuals or small groups of people, healing physical illnesses, imparting profound Truths for life solutions and elevating beings to Superconsciousness. He lived completely in the open in this small structure with no privacy or comfort. He would recline in the same seat to a crouching position to rest His body when needed, and continue seamlessly thereafter with the teachings once again. The Laughing Temple is maintained till date in its original purity to show to the world the utterly sacrificing life of The Avatar.

In the Laughing Temple, one sat at the feet of The Avatar. Every session was soulful, and in His breathing space. Any moment was potential for the awakening to happen. The space continuously resonated with His thunderous laughter as well as that of the disciples, as He enthused them in different ways in their path to enlightenment.

Following are photographs from the historic launching day of the Anandaproksha program when The Avatar emerged from deep samadhi and walked in ecstasy and excitement into a small group of fortunate beings who became part of history forever
