Title
41st Avatar Dinotsava Celebrations at Nithyananda Peeta Worldwide Bidadi, Bengaluru, 9th Jan 2017
Narration
The auspicious birth anniversary celebrations of His Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, the Avatara Dinotsava, started with the offering of four Homas (sacred fire rituals) at the Nithyanandeshwara Hindu temple. These included the powerful Ayusha Homa, the Mahamrityunjaya Homa, Nakshatra Shanthi Homa and the Navagraha Homa, performed in the authentic Hindu way. His Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda Swamiji was led in procession by jubilant devotees to the temple, where He performed aarti to all the Nithyanandeshwara Sadashiva and Nithyanandeshwari Adi Shakti, then, to mark the beginning of the day’s festivities, He offered ahuti to conclude the blessed homas.
The day saw thousands coming to Nithyananda Peeta, Bengaluru Aadheenam, as well as to hundreds of centers and aadheenams worldwide. Kalpataru, a free one day meditation and yoga program to especially awaken the extraordinary shaktis, superpowers of the third eye, latent in each of us, was attended by people from across the world.
This Avatar Dinotsava was also the graduation day of the breakthrough program MahaSadashivoham which was offered for the very first time and was a huge success. All the 1000 participants from over 30+ countries, who gathered from around the world, were successfully initiated into and are manifesting over 70 mind blowing powers described in the Agama Shastras. Living avatar Paramahamsa Nithyananda gave in-depth teachings from the Vedagamas on various spiritual sciences from life solutions to cosmology.
On the auspicious occasion of his Jayanti, Paramahamsa Nithyananda gave a powerful mahasatsang, declaring to all his devotees worldwide the need for humanity to have a superconscious breakthrough. Swamiji said that human beings need to move to the next level. The time spent to move from amoeba to fish, from fish to monkey and monkey to man, we have spent 10 times more time than that just as a man without a breakthrough. Something, he said, is seriously wrong and that it is time we have a superconscious breakthrough.
Defining the term Superconscious breakthrough, Swamiji said “The consciousness that embodies this body and mind needs to operate in the next level. So a new kind of body, new kinds of mind, new kinds of intra organs are being built. The new kind of being needs to manifest.” He went on to say “The Vedagamic ancient sacred secrets revealed by Mahasadashiva himself to the universe: manifesting the state, space and powers of Mahasadashiva is a direct way to give superconscious breakthrough to yourself and to humanity.”
Devotees partook of the overflowing, plentiful and delicious Annadaan - offering of food to devotees and visitors - a hallmark of Nithyananda Temples and centres worldwide. The food is fully organic and prepared as per the Bhaaga Shastras, the original scriptures where Mahadeva Himself reveals the art and science of food and cooking that will keep you established in His space and manifesting the Shaktis, Superpowers.
The evening saw yet another powerful Initiation into Sanyas, where initiates from all over the world chose this royal committed path to enlightenment, where the initiation by the avatar powerfully establishes one into the state, space and superpowers of Sadashiva. The night was then lit up by the lights of the joyous procession of the rathotsava, celebrating the happening of the avatar in the traditional way of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. The festivities of the day were followed by direct darshan, where everyone received personal blessing from His Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda.
Earlier in the day, devotees from various parts of India arrived in the padayatra walking hundreds of kilometers over the past 10 days from the sacred temple town of Tiruvannamalai, the birthplace of Paramahamsa Nithyananda. The padayatris touched dozens of villages along the way, providing spiritual healing and counseling, doing daily puja, enriching the people enroute with the life solutions and blessings of HH Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Pada Yatra - pilgrimage by foot - is a sacred Hindu practice where devotees undertake a journey on foot to visit their Ishta devata or a sacred place and receive blessings of the divine. This practice provides devotees relief from the challenges of their regular lives, and rejuvenates them with fresh purpose and spiritual power. Sanyasis & Aadheenavasis of Nithyananda Peetham, Bengaluru Aadheenam welcomed and honored the padayatris with love and amidst festivities.
