Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism HDH Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam
Photos
His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam (HDH) made a historic visit to Varanasi on 19 May 2006.
He laid the foundation stone for a new ashram in Varanasi. He declared that the ashram will be the Dhyanapeetam center for meditation and tapasya (intense penance). The ashram land in Varanasi is located on the banks of the sacred river Ganges.
Following are some of the pictures taken during this historic event.
Enroute to Varanasi, HDH halted in Brindavan - the place where Lord Krishna lived. Here, HDH takes a boat ride on the sacred river Yamuna in Brindavan. You can also see HDH at the Samadhi (place of final resting) of His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of the Hare Krishna movement.
