Original Verse
"नासा-मूलं मुद्रयित्वा तद्-अग्रे रेच-पूरकौ
कुर्याद्-उत्कर्षकं कुम्भः स्वयम्-उक्तः स्वयम्भुवा ॥ १०१ ॥"
Transliteration
"nāsā-mūlaṃ mudrayitvā tad-agre reca-pūrakau
kuryād-utkarṣakaṃ kumbhaḥ svayam-uktaḥ svayambhuvā ॥ 101 ॥"
Translation
"Before doing Recaka and Pūraka, one should close the nose (at its root) and practice Utkarṣa-Kumbhaka narrated by Svayambu (Śiva)."
