Original Verse

"प्रथमे सूधो सैन करावै, गोडा उभा राषि मिलावै । गुलफ मांहिला अंगुष्ट दोई, करे एकसा मेलर सोई ॥३४०॥ उभै हस्त् कांकसी करै, सो ले मसतक नीचै धरै । नासा अग्र दिष्टि ठहरावै, या तै नाडि सरलता पावै ॥३४१॥"

Transliteration

"prathame sūdho saina karāvai, goḍā ubhā rāṣi milāvai । gulapha māṃhilā aṃguṣṭa doī, kare ekasā melara soī ॥340॥ ubhai hast kāṃkasī karai, so le masataka nīcai dharai । nāsā agra diṣṭi ṭhaharāvai, yā tai nāḍi saralatā pāvai ॥341"

Translation

"First lie upon the back, the knees will be raised togather, both the big toes will be evenly together. Both the hands interlocked and placed under the fore head. Gaze fixed upon the tip of the nose."

Instruction

"1. Lie on the back with the legs folded.

2. Keep the feet on the ground.

3. Interlace the fingers and rest the head on the hands."
