"एकं पादमथ्ऐकस्मिन् विन्यस्योरुणि संस्थितः । इतरस्मिंस्तथा चोरुं वीरासनमुदीरितम् ॥ ४ ॥"

Transliteration

"ekaṃ pādamathaikasmin vinyasyoruṇi saṃsthitaḥ | itarasmiṃstathā coruṃ vīrāsanamudīritam ॥ 4 ॥"

Translation

Placing one foot over one thigh and the other thigh over the other foot similarly, sitting thus is what is known as Virasana.
