"एतत् प्रभेदं वक्ष्यामि करोति यः स चामरः। एकपादमूरौ बद्ध्वा स्कन्धेऽन्यत्पादरक्षणम्॥२३.६६॥ एतत्प्राणासनं नाम सर्वसिद्धिप्रदायकम्। वायुमूले समारोप्य ध्यात्वाऽऽकुञ्चय प्रकारयेत्॥२३.६७॥"
Transliteration
"etat prabhedaṃ vakṣyāmi karoti yaḥ sa cāmaraḥ। ekapādamūrau baddhvā skandhe'nyatpādarakṣaṇam॥23.66॥ etatprāṇāsanaṃ nāma sarvasiddhipradāyakam। vāyumūle samāropya dhyātvākuñcaya prakārayet॥23.67॥"
Translation
I now tell you a variant of this āsana which leads to immortality; Lock one foot on the thigh and the other on the shoulder. This is called prānāsana which gives the practitioner all types of siddhis. This should be done by holding the breath in the mūlādhāra and then practised by contracting it. (23.66-67)
Instruction
1. Sit and fold one foot at the root of the thigh. 2. Bring the other shoulder below the leg. 3. Hold the breath judiciously contracting the base of the spine.
