Salutation Mudra

Pramana: Śāstra Pramāṇa - शास्त्र प्रमाण

Sastra Pramana Source: Raurava Agama - Mudra Laskanam V.7

Original Verse: "ह्रुद्देशे तु निपीड्येत हस्तयोरुभयोस्तलम् ॥ ७ 7 नमस्कारा तु विज्ञेया मन्त्रिणा मन्त्रवन्दने ।"

Transliteration: "hruddeśe tu nipīḍyeta hastayorubhayostalam ॥ 7 7 namaskārā tu vijñeyā mantriṇā mantravandane ।"

Translation: Pressing together the palms of right hand and left hand and holding them in front of the heart (middle of the chest) is namaskara mudra. This mudra is to be shown by the sadhaka (who recites the mantras) at the time of making salutation accompanied with relevant mantra.
