Joga Pradipika-III.310-312

॥ उभै पगथलि सम ठहरावे

 तिन कौ माहिली कोर मिलावे
 फणा पाणि उकड होय वैसे
 एडी दोउ जोनि निवैसे ॥३१०

॥ गोडा दोउ भूमि लगवे

 सम सरीर नीका ठहरावे
 हस्त दोउ गोडा परि राषै
 नास द्रिष्टि अचल करि दाषै॥३११


"ubhai pagathalé sama öhaharävai tinaké mähilé kora milävai | phaëäpäëi ukaòa hoya baisai eòé do u joni nivaise ॥ 310 ॥ goòä dou bhümi lagävai samasaréra nékä öhaharävai | hasta dou goòäpari räkhai näsädriñöi acala kari däkhai ॥ 311 ॥"

Translation

Join the soles together, balancing on toes, sit on two heels pressing perineum. Let the knees touch the ground, balancing the body, place both palms on respective knees. Gaze at the tip of nose. Semen is retained in the body. This asana purifies apana vayu.

Instruction

Apana Vayu is purified and seminal discharge is controlled.
