With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Houston, USA, celebrated the auspicious festival of Deepavali (Diwali) on October 31st, 2024. The sacred celebration, an important ritual (utsavam) dedicated to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, featured the traditional Lighting of Lamps and a dedicated Maha Lakshmi Archana. This day holds profound spiritual significance as it marks the First Blessings Day, the moment in 2000 when THE SPH emerged from nine months of Samadhi (spiritual absorption) to utter His first words as an Enlightened Master and Avatar: "Anandamaga Irungal," or "Be Blissful." The entire event served to connect devotees with THE SPH’s profound message of superconsciousness and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in their lives.

Diwali Celebrations

The Diwali Celebrations were performed with great spiritual reverence and devotion at KAILASA Houston, USA. Recognizing Deepavali as one of the most important celebrations in the Hindu calendar, KAILASA ensured the rituals were conducted according to authentic Hindu traditions, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. The core ceremonies included the sacred Lighting of Lamps (Deepa) and the elaborate Maha Lakshmi Archana, invoking the divine grace of Mahalakshmi for prosperity, wisdom, and the ultimate wealth of liberation (moksha). The successful execution of these powerful spiritual technologies was supported by the dedicated service of 4 volunteers.

This auspicious occasion also served as a commemoration of a monumental moment in the life of THE SPH and the modern history of the Hindu civilizational revival—the First Blessings Day. After realizing His Incarnation-hood and undergoing nine months of intense Samadhi, THE SPH, empowered by the grace of Mother Kali and the settling of the Avataric energy, uttered His first divine message in the year 2000: "Anandamaga Irungal," which translates to "Be Blissful." This declaration marked the official beginning of THE SPH's global mission to awaken human superconsciousness and restore the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization.

During the celebration, the profound spiritual meaning behind the Deepa (lamp) was highlighted, underscoring THE SPH's teaching that the lamp represents the light of knowledge that enables one to see beyond the seen. THE SPH explains that human suffering arises from being bound by internal expectations and only perceiving the manifested reality (*what is seen*). By focusing on the ultimate reality, or the state of nirvikalpi, devotees are reminded to transcend external limitations and internal suffocation.

THE SPH’s mystical message encourages devotees to go beyond His physical image and the limits of the perceived world.
