With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Salem organized the sacred Sukravara Abhishekam on August 15, 2024. This auspicious ritual, performed every Friday, exemplifies the profound commitment of KAILASA to reviving authentic Hindu spiritual traditions and maintaining continuous worship of the Divine. The ceremony centered around the dedicated veneration of the deity through the offering of various sacred substances, invoking divine grace and spiritual purity for all devotees. Such essential practices reinforce KAILASA’s global mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity by restoring the enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, ensuring ancient Hindu sciences and rituals remain vibrant and accessible to the world.

Sukravara abhisekam

The Sukravara Abhishekam is a vital Hindu ritual performed on Fridays, dedicated to the elaborate bathing and worship of the divine forms, meticulously following the ancient Hindu traditions established and revived by THE SPH. Conducted at KAILASA Salem, this sacred ceremony serves as a powerful spiritual technology enabling devotees to connect with the divine grace of THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The practice of *Abhishekam* (ritualistic bathing) is considered paramount in awakening the divine presence within the *vigraha* (deity statue) and purifying the energetic field of the temple and the surrounding community.

The ritual was performed with great devotion, utilizing a specific sequence of sacred substances as mandated by the Hindu scriptures. These offerings included milk, honey, tender coconut water, fragrant sandalwood paste, turmeric powder, and rose water. Each substance was offered while chanting specific Vedic mantras and profound Hindu prayers, invoking specific blessings related to prosperity, purity, and spiritual elevation. The offering of these substances is understood to cleanse the inner space of the devotees and draw them closer to the divine experience gifted by THE SPH.

The Sukravara Abhishekam concluded with the elaborate decoration (*Alankara*) of the deity, where the form was adorned with fresh garlands, auspicious clothing, and sacred ornaments. Following the decoration, devotees offered *Deeparadhana* (waving of lights), fresh fruits, flowers, and other sacred items, symbolizing complete reverence and gratitude towards the divine manifestation.
