'''2 June : I am seen behind a great enlightened being Yogi Ramsuratkumar (bearded Saint in the center) in Tiruvannamalai. This was taken in Oya mutt in Tiruvoodal street when I was 15 years old.

It is the sacred thread ceremony of our family friend's son. The father was Balakumar, a popular Tamil writer very close to my mother's younger brother Venugopal. He was a devotee of Sri Yogi Ramsuratkumar. So they came from Chennai to celebrate this function here.

You can see me intensely watching him. He was a great source of inspiration in my life. I spent several years around him.

He used to be near the thermutti (where the temple chariot was parked). Or he would be seated on a specific tomb in the graveyard! He never spoke much. He is one of the greatest beings I have seen in my life and is my predecessor in the unbroken lineage of
the great beings who incarnated in Tiruvannamalai.
