Finally, palliyarai - putting the deities to sleep - was offered by Sri Yogajnanaanda. 3) Lord Sarabeshwara Puja @ 7.30 pm - In the evening, we offered puja to Lord Sarabeshwara who is the unique form of Lord Shiva and is known to be the combination of a bird and lion with 8 legs, 4 hands, 2 wings, sharp tooth and nails which makes Him look ferocious. Lord Sarabeshwara is the ruthless vanquisher of evil and a great protector. He bestows the devotees with fearlessness and the strength to face the battles of life. .
