The Sovereign State of SHRIKAILASA is delighted to announce extending its Sister City Partnership with the Prince Valley Community of Solomon Islands. Prince Valley community is located in Panatina Ward of East Honiara Constituency. The community is occupied mainly by the people of Lau lagoon of Malaita province. The people of Lau lagoon are known for their fishing abilities, skills and knowledge. Upon their arrival on the island of Guadalcanal in the early 1960s, they settled along the coast of Honiara. With their fishing background, they called their settlement Fishing village or Fishery village. The people of Fishing village relocated to a state-owned parcel of land in 2012. The relocation happened during the time Prince William and Kate visited Solomon Islands in 2012. Hence, this settlement is called the Prince Valley Community.
