A photograph of a seated saffron-robed man on a low wooden bench under a covered veranda, reading from a sheet of paper. He has short dark hair and an orange shawl draped over his shoulders. Around him sit about ten women in white saris with golden borders, seated on the floor in a semicircle, listening attentively. Some wear white flower garlands in their hair and one wears a yellow top. A white plastic chair stands behind the bench, with a whitewashed wall, a tree and bare ground beside the veranda. The setting appears to be a simple outdoor discourse or study session. The man's appearance does not clearly match the a person identity from the page, so he is described by role only.
