A woman in a cream sari with gold border bends forward offering a brass kalasha with flower garland and green leaves. A bicycle and sandals lie on the dirt at left, and mango trees stand behind.2010-02-16A groundbreaking ritual at an outdoor site under a striped purple-and-white canopy with flower garlands. A person in saffron-orange robes, an orange turban and a white-and-red flower garland kneels and presses a stone or brick into a sand-filled foundation pit lined with coloured floral rangoli. Around them, men in white shirts and dhotis with rudraksha malas stand watching, and an older bearded man in white and red garland stands behind. A brass pot sits on the right, and offering trays and lamps are set on the ground beyond the pit.2006-11-24December 30 20162016-12-30Outdoor photograph on a grassy field with scrubby trees behind. A kneeling priest in white dhoti with an orange shawl and white forehead marks tends to a brass thali tray and silver vessels set on the grass. A figure in an orange robe and orange turban with a white and red flower garland bends forward, pouring from a small brass or clay vessel onto the ground beside a mat. A mango-leaf bundle stands upright at the centre, surrounded by pink petals, yellow marigolds and a flower garland traced along the earth. Stacked red bricks lie at the base. Behind, several women in white saris with gold borders and a man in white dhoti and shirt stand with palms pressed in namaste. Another white-clad figure walks in the distance.2010-02-15July 08 20092009-07-08 +1 copiesOutdoor photo under shady trees on bare earth at a ritual site beside a low stone wall. A man in orange robes with an orange head wrap stands at centre, one hand raised to his head, facing a man in white kurta and dhoti who stands with hands folded. Brass oil lamps, a brass bell and a small flat stone slab lie on the ground in front of them. Around them a loose group of people in white, pink and grey clothing stand watching, several with hands clasped, one woman in a white sari with red border at right and a man in a white T-shirt with arms crossed. Tree branches and dappled sunlight fill the background. The page does not confirm the orange-robed figure's identity, and his appearance shows only a single cue, so the label stays unsure.2003-01-01January 14 20102010-01-14January 02 20122012-01-02July 02 20042004-07-02 +1 copiesOutdoor ritual at a construction-site style area beside orange-painted walls.
