KAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 7/6/20212021-07-06A photograph of a stage with red carpet and a gold ornate throne on wheels against a carved gold lattice backdrop. On the throne, a large portrait-style image shows a smiling man in a red turban with a rudraksha mala and hands in anjali; this is a depiction on a screen or print, not a physical person. Two women stand on pale green yoga mats: one bends forward with her hands on the mat in a forward-fold, wearing black leggings and a black top; the other, on the right, stands in a lunge in an orange-red kurta and patiala-style trousers with a long braid and a rudraksha-style necklace. Gold trident-topped staffs and red curtains frame the scene.2016-12-07October 23 20102010-10-23June 21 20152015-06-21A woman in orange-brown robes and a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged on a blue mat on a red stage, arms raised with hands mudra-gesturing, performing a teaching or guided practice. Behind her a golden throne with a maroon cushion stands beside a tall golden trident. On the throne a figure in red-and-maroon clothing, wearing a red turban and a red-beaded garland, sits with palms raised, appearing as a screen image on the backdrop. Maroon drapes frame the stage. The woman and the seated figure are the only people shown.2016-12-12A stage with red carpet and two mint-green yoga mats. A gold-patterned screen and red curtains form the backdrop.2016-12-07 +1 copiesA photo of a ceremonial stage with a large gilded throne at centre, backed by an ornate gold-and-brown carved panel showing a multi-armed deity murti. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and a white flower garland sits on the throne, flanked by gold carved screens. Three women in orange saris with long plaited hair stand in front, with one holding a ritual object, while seated women in white and red saris and a standing musician in white attend nearby. Brass oil lamps, copper pots and a tripod camera are visible on the stage, which is covered in white cloth. Appearance-based label: a person, seated on the throne in saffron robes and a garland.2016-05-03A woman in a rust-orange sari and matching shawl stands on a stage speaking into a handheld microphone, one hand raised in a gesture. She wears a dark rudraksha mala and a small gold pendant. Behind her is an ornate gold throne with red cushions and a tiger-skin cloth, on which a large printed portrait shows a bearded man in an orange turban, rudraksha and gold necklaces, seated in meditation pose. Gold lion figures, a golden tree canopy, red curtains with colourful tassel decorations, and gold trident stands frame the stage.2017-04-02October 27 20142014-10-27 +3 copiesTwo women sit on pale green yoga mats on a red stage in front of an ornate gold throne with a red cushion.
