A photograph of a man in saffron-orange robes standing at a white marble home shrine, lighting a lamp with a flame held in his hand over a small marble altar. Behind him a green chalkboard, and on the shrine are several framed deity pictures and small murtis, including a blue-skinned figure with a bow and figures in red and gold. Strings of rudraksha beads hang from the man's neck, and a red cloth drapes the shrine. A red patterned rug sits on the floor with a brass pot, a plate of offerings, and a yellow cloth beside it. The man has long dark hair and a striped shawl over the shoulder, consistent with a puja or aarti at home. Swamiji (probable) cues are present: long swept-back hair, orange robes, and rudraksha malas.A home shrine in a room with a green chalkboard on the left. A man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with a dark rudraksha-style mala around his neck, stands at the left looking toward the shrine. Two women kneel in front of an illuminated white marble shrine niche holding deity murtis, including a seated figure, with garlands, small oil lamps, flowers and a red cloth draped over the shrine. One woman wears a white sari with green border and the other a lavender sari, both bowing in devotion. Small brass lamps stand on the floor, and framed pictures and a kalasha-topped spire sit above the shrine.A man in an orange saffron robe with a white flower garland stands at the right side of a wall-mounted shrine, lighting a small flame with one hand toward the framed deity pictures. Framed gold-bordered prints of deities, one an arched figure with a tall crown and another a goddess holding lotus flowers, are decorated with white and pink flower garlands. Brass lamps, a small brass bowl and fruit sit on a wooden table below, and a framed portrait of a long-haired man in orange is visible in the lower frame. The man has long swept-back hair and a saffron robe, but his face and appearance are not distinctive enough to confirm a person, so he is described as a person lighting a lamp at a home shrine.2010-02-17July 04 20142014-07-04 +1 copiesA photograph inside a home shrine room with a white marble shrine niche holding small deity images, a red cloth draped over a side panel, and brass oil lamps on the floor. A woman in an orange sari with bare feet stands at left, and a man in a white kurta with his back to the camera bends toward the altar, apparently making an offering or performing puja. A devotee in a pink sari stands at right edge, and a green chalkboard hangs on the left wall. On the white shelf sits an orange-robed seated statue with a red turban and rudraksha mala, beside framed colourful devotional prints. A brown vase of pink and yellow flowers stands below. A bare-shouldered person in orange and garland is the main actor; another head is partially visible at lower right.2009-08-08A person in an orange robe with long dark hair and a red and white shawl stands before a wooden shelf, lighting a lamp with a flame held in one hand. The shelf holds framed pictures, small brass figures, garlands of marigolds and red flowers. Silver lamp stands flank the shelf, and a silver tray with flowers, a small bowl and a kalasha-like vessel sits on a white-draped table below. Orange marigold garlands decorate the window and railing. A framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" hangs on the left wall beside a white-covered chair. The setting appears to be a room used for puja, with a daylight window behind.2010-02-05A standing figure in an orange sleeveless garment and a white flower garland lights an oil lamp at a home shrine in front of a wall of framed deity prints. The framed prints show Venkateswara, Lakshmi and other deities, each adorned with white flower garlands, and a small framed portrait sits in front of the shelf. A second person in orange clothing kneels at the lower left beside a plate of bananas and fruit. Brass lamps and pink petals rest on a marble-topped table below the frames. The shrine holds a framed poster reading tattvamasi, a framed photo of a man in orange, a small lit oil lamp, marigolds, a brass tray and a framed Ganesha picture on the wall. A woman in a dark blouse and green sari stands at left holding a plate of flowers. Appearance-based candidate: a person in the center of the frame performing the lighting, with a long swept-back hairstyle, orange clothing and a flower garland; the page does not indicate his presence, so this is recorded as unsure.2009-11-02September 15 20092009-09-15
