Small gold figures and carvings adorn the tower and pillars. Behind it stands a temple gopuram tower and a stone temple hall with a green doorway. Blurred devotees' heads are visible at the bottom edge. Two signboards with printed text are mounted on the temple wall beside the chariot. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.2009-08-06A photograph of an ornate silver ratha, a temple chariot with a tiered, multi-roofed canopy and carved silver panels, standing in a stone-pillared temple courtyard under a white tent roof. Pink, red and yellow marigold garlands hang along the canopy edges and columns, with orange garlands strung along the walls behind. Through the glass-sided shrine inside the chariot, a gold deity murti is visible. Several men and boys stand around the chariot, some in white shirts and dhotis, one in a checked shirt and another in a light striped kurta with arms folded. A white rope is coiled on the chariot's platform, and its large silver-rimmed wheels rest on the stone floor.2008-02-18Photo 11726453A crowd of devotees gathers around a silver palanquin decorated with marigold garlands and pink and yellow flower strands, carried inside a white stone temple courtyard with carved pillars and a stone lion sculpture above. Many people stand with hands folded in anjali, some in white dhotis and shirts, others in striped and checked shirts, and a man in a white turban stands at right. A figure in white clothing stands behind glass near the pillar. Marigold garlands hang from the columns and the black stone deity murti beside the entrance. The scene appears to be a temple procession or darshan at the Kalabhairaveshwara-related event.2008-02-18A large golden tiered shrine structure, a peetha-like pedestal with stepped gold tiers, decorated with garlands of red and pink flowers, white jasmine strands and green leaves, and scattered pink, yellow and white flowers across its tiers. Carved relief panels show an elephant and a cobra-hooded figure at the base. A white ceiling fan and carved wooden pillars surround it inside a temple hall. No people are visible.2023-01-03Photo 11716332October 05 20172017-10-05 +1 copiesA photograph of a large polished silver ritual vessel or base, ornately embossed with floral and scroll patterns, set on a silver square platform. Pink flowers are heaped on top and strands of white jasmine-like garlands drape down its sides. Red petals are scattered on the white cloth beneath it. A partial human hand is visible at the right edge, but no people are otherwise shown. The setting suggests a temple or ashram altar arrangement for worship.2007-07-25A large ornate silver vessel stands on a tiered silver base with embossed floral and scalloped patterns, draped with white jasmine garlands and topped with pink flowers and a yellow blossom. A silver tray with offerings, including orange and yellow items and petals, sits in the foreground on a white cloth. No people are visible in the scene.2007-07-25
