A stage viewed between heavy red velvet curtains that are drawn open at the centre. Within the framed opening, a seated figure in an orange-yellow garment with white garlands sits on a raised throne decorated with red and white striped canopy, marigold garlands and yellow flower festoons. The figure's hands are pressed together in namaste. A low red platform in the foreground holds a floral rangoli design and a small white deity murti or sculpture adorned with flower garlands. A probable Swamiji figure is seated on the throne, identified by the saffron-orange clothing, long hair, and garlands, and is seated in a throne setting for a Guru Poornima event.2007-07-29Red velvet stage curtains are parted in the center, revealing a small stage with a red and cream patterned rug in the foreground. A microphone on a stand stands near a partially visible seated figure in white clothing with orange fabric beneath, sitting on the stage in the back. The scene is a stage setup for a talk or discourse, with the figure barely visible behind the curtain opening.2012-04-09July 29 20072007-07-29April 27 20142014-04-27A stage set with red velvet curtains and a dark backdrop, lit by two studio softboxes. A carved golden throne with a small ornate canopy sits on a white-draped platform scattered with red and yellow flower petals, and a figure in red and gold robes sits on it with hands pressed together in a namaskar gesture before a microphone stand. The steps and stage floor are strewn with petals. Appearance of the seated figure is too indistinct to attribute identity; the throne and petals alone do not establish who is seated. The image shows the empty-seeming throne setup as a darshan-style stage, with no other people visible.2007-02-02 +1 copiesA photograph of a stage set for a Guru Purnima satsang, decorated with white and red floral garlands forming a large arched canopy over a central seat. A seated figure in orange and saffron robes with a white garland sits on a white throne-like seat under a red-and-white striped umbrella motif, with a framed portrait draped in clear plastic visible above. Maroon curtains frame the stage, a brass lamp stand and bronze lamps stand on either side, and a yellow and marigold-petal rangoli with a small offering lies at the base of the stage. Overall the scene reads as a devotional darshan platform in an indoor hall.2007-07-29A blurred photograph of a stage set for the Brahmotsava 2008 event. Heavy red velvet curtains are drawn open on either side, framing a central red carpeted walkway leading up to a raised white and gold throne. The throne is decorated with yellow and white floral garlands and topped with a golden canopy. Seated on the throne is a figure in red and yellow robes wearing a garland, though the figure is small and indistinct. The white stage floor has a purple strip and wooden edging. No other people are visible.2008-12-23A decorated stage set for a Guru Poornima event with a large white floral arch framing a central seat. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with a red canopy above sits with palms pressed together in greeting, garlanded with flower necklaces. Brass oil lamps stand on the stage steps and a row of silver kalasha pots sits on yellow cloth at the front. Maroon and purple curtains flank the stage, and a large framed portrait hangs above the arch, partly obscured by plastic sheeting. Flower petal rangoli decorates the floor below, and a brass lamp and fresh flowers mark the foreground.2007-07-29September 13 20092009-09-13 +2 copiesEmpty stage with deep red velvet curtains behind a low raised platform.
