Night photograph of two processional deity murtis, a male and a female form, adorned with thick garlands of white and yellow flowers and red-and-white floral strands. The figures are gilded and richly ornamented with necklaces and crowns, standing within a dark wooden temple structure with carved pillars and an ornate canopy, lit warmly by light falling from one side. A person in a white dhoti with a red-bordered cloth is visible in the lower left foreground, seen from behind or partly cut off. The scene suggests a ratha or palanquin procession, with the deities carried under a carved wooden structure.

Night photograph of a temple shrine with two seated deity murtis decorated in gold crowns, jewelled ornaments and colourful garments, one blue-faced with a trident-like staff, the other in a pink and blue sari, set before a white cloth backdrop. Oil lamps flank the shrine and several silhouetted devotees stand or sit in the dark foreground, one holding an object up toward the deities. A red garland-like string of lights hangs across the top of the frame.

A golden murti of a seated deity pair is decorated with jewelled crowns, a maroon velvet tunic and a violet silk garment, holding a trident and a small drum-like object; a white-and-gold clad priest with diamond-like garlands kneels in front, with an oil lamp and palm leaves at the left edge. This is a deity murti and a priest in ritual dress; no person is visibly identifiable as a person in this image.

A photograph in near-darkness of an illuminated shrine niche framed by gold-painted arches and orange draped curtains. At centre sits a deity murti with a tall crown and blue throat, garlanded with marigold and white flower garlands, flanked by a seated female figure in gold clothing and two standing attendant figures on either side, also garlanded. Brass lamps and a flower-decorated altar stand in front. No physical people are visible; the figures are statues.

Night photograph of a Shiva-Parvati murti pair seated on a golden pedestal inside a stone temple pavilion. The Shiva form wears a white dhoti and a crown, holds a trident-like staff, and is adorned with a white garland and silver necklaces. The Parvati form wears a red and green sari with a yellow and red flower garland and a crown, with long black hair falling down her back. Below, a black stone shivalinga stands on a golden yoni-pitha base, wrapped in a gold serpent, with flower petals scattered on the stone floor and small oil lamps glowing at the right edge. The statues are deity murti, not living people; no physical people are visible.

A photograph of a dimly lit temple shrine showing a pair of seated metal deity murtis, a male figure with four arms holding a trident-like staff and a serpent-form object, and a female figure in a teal garment with a red border, seated on a stone pedestal beneath a golden hooded serpent canopy. A white-and-gold cloth wraps a Shivalinga-like form in front, with white flower garlands draped around the base and a small red-and-white object at the bottom. Wooden scaffolding and bamboo poles frame the structure against a dark stone ceiling and carved pillars.

Low-angle photo of a temple shrine at night showing a decorated deity murti group under a stone canopy. A central figure wears a tall golden crown with red and green stones and a golden cobra-hood headdress, with a white dhoti-like cloth draped over the lower body edged with red and gold borders. Beside it, a seated figure in gold-trimmed golden shawl and red garment with jewelled necklaces stands behind. Garlands of white flowers and red blossoms hang across the figures, and green leafy strings with bamboo-like fronds decorate the pillars.
