A man with long swept-back dark hair sits on a gold-upholstered throne-like chair in front of an ornate gold repoussé backdrop. He wears a saffron-orange draped garment with a gold border, multiple rudraksha malas, a gold chain with a pendant, and a red bindi. His right hand is raised in a teaching gesture while his left hand rests in his lap. He wears an orange saffron dhoti-style cloth with a gold-bordered shawl draped over one shoulder, leaving the other shoulder bare. He has a long rudraksha mala and a long garland of yellow beads, and a red bindi on his forehead. His hands rest on his lap and he gazes downward, seemingly at ease.
