The figure wears a white dhoti with red and gold border, a white shawl with red-and-gold edging, a gold and jewelled necklace, a large ornate gold waist ornament and a tall crown-like headdress. A pink hibiscus flower lies at its feet. The statue is a deity murti, not a living person, so no physical people are present.2011-10-09November 23 20122012-11-23March 27 20132013-03-27August 31 20132013-08-31July 31 20142014-07-31Photo 11687497November 17 20122012-11-17June 06 20132013-06-06September 16 20122012-09-16A black stone murti of a four-armed deity stands against a white wall in bright daylight. The figure wears a tall conical crown with red-and-white tilak marks on the forehead and chest, and is dressed in a white dhoti with a red and gold bordered shawl draped over the shoulders and a dark green and red waistband. One hand holds a trident-like weapon and another rests on a tall ornate staff or mace with a carved base; the other hands are raised in mudra gestures. Shadows fall to the right side of the wall. No people are visible.2010-02-20
