Potted palms line the carpet, and a large crowd of seated devotees fills the right side under a white and blue draped ceiling. On the left, a large banner shows a smiling face and purple-and-gold Tamil lettering reading 'Paramahamsa Nithyananda', with a printed portrait caption on the stage backdrop. Lighting rigs and speakers are visible along the aisle.2009-11-27A large white-and-blue draped tent hall filled with seated devotees in white clothes on green mats. Most people sit cross-legged on green artificial turf facing a stage at the front, dressed in white shirts and white dhotis, with some in orange or peach shirts. Potted plants and red and white chairs line the stage's left side. A tall banner on the left shows a woman in orange, and a large purple banner reads a convention title. Several speakers and stage lights surround the gathering. Some hold their hands in anjali mudra at chest height while facing a banner and stage at the far end. Draped grey silk curtains and speakers line the right side, and a portrait-style banner hangs above the stage. The event appears to be an arogya yoga session. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so no candidate is marked.2006-11-26A photograph inside a large white tented pavilion at night, lit by strings of overhead fluorescent tubes and spotlights. Long red carpet runners with a green carpet strip down the centre run the length of the hall, and a yellow and green fringed drape hangs from the tent ceiling. Dozens of men stand in rows along both sides, many in white shirts and white dhotis, others in striped shirts and trousers. Several standing men in the centre wear white, and a few women in saris stand at the right edge. Some attendees hold small objects in their hands. The scene suggests an orderly gathering or session in progress, with the aisle left clear.2006-09-17A photograph from a large tented convention stage with a red carpet and yellow-skirted edge. Several men and women in white dhotis, shirts and salwar-style clothing stand in a line, some wearing yellow shawls with a yellow-and-white flag-style sash. Barefoot men in grey trousers and an orange t-shirt stand at the left edge near a navy banner with Tamil lettering. A dense crowd of devotees stands on green, orange and yellow striped mats, many men in white dhotis and shirts, some in plain shirts, with women in saris in orange, pink and yellow on the right. Many hold their hands together in anjali pose, while one man in the foreground holds a folded paper. A small boy in a checked shirt and yellow shorts stands near the centre. Hanging orange and yellow decorations hang from the ceiling. No identifiable a person figure is visibly present, so no appearance-based candidate is claimed.
