A photograph taken from an elevated position of a roadside gathering in India. A red state transport bus with white and red stripes and Kannada-script lettering on its front runs along a dirt road past a line of people holding national flags, including the flags of the USA, Scotland, Guadalupe, France and Belgium. Many people in white ritual clothing and traditional dress stand along the roadside, while others in ordinary clothes watch. A small man in white with a shawl stands at the left edge near the flags, and dark-clothed onlookers are in the foreground. A flock of birds fills the sky above, with palm trees, a hut with a tarpaulin roof and a construction site behind.
