A man in the centre wears a rust-brown dhoti and shawl with a gold necklace and a visible forehead mark, walking barefoot along a striped cloth runner. Behind him, several young men in saffron-orange robes carry a trident staff, a kalasha-topped staff, and a large yellow-and-red parasol with a fringed canopy; one attendant holds a white drum. Incense smoke rises at the upper left, and people in orange garments with bare upper bodies follow. This is a ceremonial procession.2017-11-15Night procession on a dirt path lit by a distant lamp. Five men walk in a line: a shaved-headed man in white dhoti and shirt with a rudraksha-style pendant at left; a central man in orange-saffron robes with gold-bordered shawl walking with hands folded; a man in orange robes with gold border behind him holding hands together; a man in white dhoti and shawl with gold border; and a shaved-headed man in orange robes carrying a tray with a small silver vessel, green leaves and white flowers. A man in a white shirt at right holds a lit lamp and a flower garland. Appearance-based identity of the central figure is uncertain, so he is described only by role as a devotee walking in the procession.2012-01-02Night-time photograph of a group walking across a dirt ground toward a long low building strung with small lights. In the centre, a man in an orange saffron robe and a crystal-style pendant or mala walks with a sannyasi in orange cloth to the left, and a cameraman in white dhoti and shirt with an orange shawl films at the right edge holding a handheld video camera. Several older men in white dhotis and white shirts walk behind, one wearing a yellow shawl and another an orange shawl. A tall white light stands at left on a wooden pole. The scene appears to be an evening procession or walk at an event.2009-08-03August 13 20112011-08-13December 20 20062006-12-20
