Outdoor gathering at an ashram courtyard with a large seated audience of children, young men and women in orange, white and saffron clothing. In the centre a long-haired man in a flowing orange robe stands, with wisps of smoke or incense drifting around him. In the foreground a seated figure in a white kurta and orange shawl sits facing him, and another man in orange draped cloth is partly visible at lower left. Behind them, an orange cushioned seat is set on a low platform, and people sit on a white-walled building with open doors. Several spectators wear orange and white shawls and some have rudraksha or saffron garlands.2008-10-27October 04 20082008-10-04October 04 20082008-10-04October 04 20082008-10-04October 27 20082008-10-27January 03 20082008-01-03A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak mark on his forehead stands on a white and red striped stage, speaking into a handheld microphone while gesturing with his raised right hand. He wears an orange saffron shawl over a red top and an orange dhoti-style garment. Behind him is an orange-draped sofa with an orange and patterned cushion. Around forty seated women and girls in white, orange, yellow and green saris and kurtas sit on steps and smile and listen. A mild satsang or discourse setting under a dark rafter roof. Swamiji (probable) appears to be the speaker, identified by long swept-back hair, saffron shawl and orange clothing, with the in-person candidate visible on stage.2008-10-27Photograph of a nighttime ceremony under a corrugated metal roof with a whitewashed wall and a large banner portrait behind. In the foreground a figure in a long orange saffron robe with long dark hair walks down steps, holding a golden ceremonial staff. Behind him, several people in white dhotis and white kurtas with orange shawls descend the steps, some holding golden staffs or ritual implements. Other attendees wear white and a lavender shirt, and a child in a green shirt stands at lower right with a rudraksha-style necklace. Speakers sit on the stage in the middle distance. The setting suggests a temple-style ritual gathering, with a woman in a white sari and a child with hands folded at the left edge.2007-02-14July 12 20092009-07-12A long-haired man in a saffron-orange shawl walks through a large hall filled with seated devotees in white clothes. He wears an orange wrap over a red undergarment, with long dark hair falling past his shoulders, and appears to be moving along a central aisle. Blue and yellow decorative banners hang from the ceiling. Many seated attendees in white shirts and white dhotis fill the foreground and background, some wearing white headcloths. The motion blur suggests a moving camera during a satsang or convention gathering.2008-10-04January 18 20092009-01-18A photograph of a man with long dark hair, wearing a sleeveless saffron-orange shawl draped over his body, standing and smiling in a hall in front of seated rows of people wearing white headbands and white clothing.
