A photograph inside a decorated hall with orange and peach painted walls. A man in a white long-sleeved shirt and jeans kneels before a seated figure in saffron-orange robes, rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and gold chains; the seated figure has long dark hair, bare-chested with white ash marks on the arm and chest, and is smiling while the kneeling man holds his hands. Behind them is a throne-like seat draped in orange cloth and white, pink and yellow flower garlands, with a golden deity murti in an arch. A standing electric fan, a trident and a floral offering with a decorated kalasha-like object sit in the foreground, and a partial figure in white stands at the left edge. The page caption identifies this as an event with a person, but the appearance cues are not clearly distinctive enough for a firm identification.2006-05-21A photograph of a ritual in a hall with a decorated backdrop of a deity murti flanked by garlands of marigolds and yellow and green flower strings.
