A photograph from behind of a dense crowd of devotees seated closely together, nearly all wearing draped saffron-orange shawls and robes. Visible hairstyles include neat buns with decorative hair clips and loose dark hair; one person wears an orange baseball cap, another a navy top, and a woman in the foreground wears a red and yellow garment. The crowd fills the frame. No clearly identifiable figure at the front is shown, and no ritual object is visible apart from a rudraksha mala on one neck.2006-05-24May 23 20062006-05-23May 23 20062006-05-23May 22 20062006-05-22A large crowd of women sits closely packed outdoors, most wearing orange-saffron shawls draped over their heads and shoulders, with some in pink, purple, green and white garments among them. Many have dark hair pulled back and several wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and bangles. A black umbrella is raised at the upper left. The women face forward in a seated gathering, looking attentive or solemn. No a person candidate is visible among the people shown.2007-02-20A large group of people in saffron-orange clothing sits cross-legged on a white floor in a hall, viewed from behind. Many men wear orange turbans and orange cloth wraps, while women wear orange saris and have hair in buns, braids and loose styles. Banana-leaf or plate-like offerings are set in rows before them, and a pink and green cloth lies on the floor. Some participants wear rudraksha or beaded necklaces. The back wall shows a chalkboard sign and a stage with pink drapery.2017-09-19A large outdoor group of devotees sits on a rooftop or terrace in misty mountain surroundings. Most are wrapped head to shoulder in orange shawls and wear orange caps, several with white or dark clothing beneath. A cameraman in an orange and teal shirt films from a tripod at the left, beside a hillside town of concrete buildings and a suspension bridge over a river. Their posture suggests a seated meditation session. A man at the right in an orange shirt and rudraksha mala sits among them. The scene is hazy with morning mist.2006-05-26May 22 20062006-05-22May 24 20062006-05-24 +1 copiesSeptember 10 20152015-09-10Outdoor photo of a large seated gathering in orange and saffron clothing at a riverside-style ghat area with green trees and pink-painted buildings. Several dozen people sit on stone steps and paved ground, many wearing orange shawls and robes, some in white or pink. In the centre, a robed figure in orange sits near a stone platform while another stands beside an offering tray with a yellow item on it; a small sign stands on the stone. Ornate umbrellas with gold trim hang from the left and right. Foreground devotees sit with bags and water bottles.2006-06-04April 23 20162016-04-23
