A figure with long dark hair and a gold crown wears a red and gold brocade kurta and stands before the throne, receiving papers from a man in a saffron-orange dhoti and kurta. Behind them a second man in a maroon dhoti with a rudraksha mala stands near a gold-and-white pillar. On the right, a man in a black-and-white patterned shirt watches beside a golden pedestal holding a deity murti draped in red with a garland.2011-12-15 +1 copiesA seated figure in an orange-saffron robe and matching turban sits on a red-cushioned gilded throne backed by a large garland of multicolored flowers in yellow, purple, red and white, with a golden parasol overhead. A devotee in white clothes and an orange-red shawl bows before him, while a bald priest in saffron-and-gold dhoti with white sacred markings on his forehead and arms holds a tray. Other attendants in saffron and orange shawls stand around the ornate gold-and-silver ceremonial umbrellas and trident-topped staffs. The seated figure wears a long garland of pink and orange flowers and rudraksha beads, and a gold-colored ritual setting surrounds the dais. Visible cues on the seated figure include the saffron turban and ceremonial ornate attire, consistent with a person seated in a ritual honoring setting.2015-07-09December 15 20112011-12-15A photograph of a temple-style stage with ornate golden and pink decor and a floral-garlanded deity murti.
