August 09 2003 - First Visit To San Diego

A smiling man in a saffron-orange turban and flowing saffron robes stands on a sandy beach. He wears a long rudraksha-style bead mala with a gold pendant over his chest. Behind him, seagulls rest on the wet sand, a boulder breakwater runs along the shore, several people sit and walk on the beach, and a lifeguard tower and cliffs rise in the background.

A photograph of a standing figure in an orange saffron robe and matching orange turban on a sandy beach, facing the sea with his back partly turned to the camera. He wears a long dark rudraksha mala around his neck and has long dark hair. Grey seagulls stand on the wet sand to the left, and a cliff rises at the far left edge. Several people are scattered along the shoreline and a few bathers are visible in the surf under a hazy, overcast sky. Swamiji (probable) based on long hair, orange turban and saffron robe with rudraksha mala; the page names him as present at this 2003 San Diego visit.

A photograph of a smiling man standing on a sandy beach with grey-blue waves and an overcast sky behind him. He wears an orange-saffron turban with a small red bindi on his forehead, and an orange-saffron shawl wrapped over his shoulders and torso. His arms are raised with palms open toward the sky, and his head is tilted upward. Long dark hair falls past his shoulders. The orange wrap and turban are the most prominent colours against the pale sea and sky.

A photograph of a smiling man standing on a sandy beach with large white-capped waves breaking behind him. He wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over his shoulder and body with a thin golden border, and a dark rudraksha mala hangs at his chest. He has long dark hair pulled back and a white vertical tilak with a red dot on his forehead. A partially visible person in white clothing stands at the right edge of the frame.

A smiling man in orange ochre robes and a long rudraksha mala stands in shallow surf at the seashore, with white waves breaking behind him. A second man in orange clothing stands partly behind him near the water. The man in front has a red tilak mark on his forehead and dark hair pulled back. The grey sea and sky fill the background.

A smiling man in saffron-orange robes bends forward at the edge of a pale, misty shoreline, reaching one hand down toward still water. He wears a dark rudraksha mala around his neck, beaded wrist bracelets, and light beige sandals. A wrap of orange cloth drapes over his shoulders and a darker orange dhoti covers his lower body. The background is hazy white sky over calm water with a faint distant shore.

A smiling man with long dark wavy hair stands barefoot in shallow river water, waving his right hand. He wears a flowing saffron-orange wrap over an orange shirt and a heavy gold bead necklace with clear crystal beads and a gold pendant. A white tilak and red bindi mark his forehead. Behind him, a concrete ghat with scattered orange marigold petals, a bamboo pole in the water, and a distant riverbank. Two people in white and pink clothing stand at the right edge. Sunny, clear sky.
