Crowded outdoor relief distribution in a rural village with thatched straw walls behind. Villagers, mostly women in saris and salwar kameez in teal, pink, orange, yellow and red, crowd forward holding out steel bowls and plates toward a white vehicle. A man in a white shirt stands at the vehicle, and a small boy in an orange shirt holds a steel plate at the right edge. Dry branches and sticks lie in the foreground. The scene suggests an annadaan food distribution during cyclone relief in Kuttiyankuppam.
