A photograph of a devotional reception under a canopy hung with decorative bunting. Several men in white shirts and dhotis stand in a line at a table, some holding papers, while a bearded man in an orange shawl and white shirt stands behind them. On the right, a figure in an orange robe with a garland, seated at a table laden with oranges, sweets and a golden decorative object, smiles as he greets the visitors. A large backdrop shows a painted tree. The page indicates a person attended this welcome, but the seated figure's appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity; he is described by role only. A microphone stand sits in the foreground.
