A smiling man with long dark hair and a white vibhuti mark with a red kumkum dot on his forehead raises both hands in greeting, wearing an orange-saffron robe with a gold border and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace over a garland of green leaves, white jasmine and red and yellow flowers. Behind him a man in an orange shawl with gold ornaments stands close, and a crowd of men in white dhotis and shirts presses around; several photographers with cameras crowd the left side in front of an ornate iron gate and pink wall. Swamiji (probable) is shown as the central figure, distinguished by long hair, saffron clothing, ceremonial gold necklaces and a garland, though his identity is an appearance-based candidate only. The people are a crowd of photographers and devotees visible in the scene.
