A man lying or reclining on a red-and-pink floral-decorated mat is covered in layered white and red flower garlands; his head and face are visible at lower left, and he wears a rust-coloured garment. Around him, several devotees stand and bend close. A woman in a cream sari with a gold border holds a bunch of green and orange fruits over him, another woman in a cream-and-gold sari stands at left, and a man in a white shirt bends forward with his hands near the figure. A woman with hair in a bun and a gold necklace faces away at right, and a man in white dhoti with gold border and bare upper body stands at right. A white electric fan and a wicker basket sit in the foreground. Whether the reclining man is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance, so he is described by role only.
