A shadow puppet performance projected onto a lit white cloth screen against a black background. Two puppets stand in profile: on the left, a figure with a rounded head and a flowing lower garment; on the right, a figure with a cap-like head and a brocaded body holding a large ornate, bead-decorated figure with an elaborate headdress. The puppets are backlit, so their silhouettes and painted colours show as translucent amber and red tones. The visible performers operating the puppets are not clearly seen; no physical person is clearly visible in the frame.
