Beside her, a man in white kurta and dhoti with a tilak on his forehead and glasses stands near shelves of jars and oil bottles. On the right, a man with long hair in a white kurta and orange shawl gestures with his hands while speaking. Steel pressure cookers and pans sit on the counter.

A serving line under a covered open-sided shelter with brown matting on the roof. Men in white clothes with orange shawls stand behind steel pots and trays of food, using ladles to serve rice and curry. On the left, a woman with a long thick braid and white garment faces the servers and holds a plate. On the far right, a man in white with orange shawl, rudraksha mala and wire-rimmed glasses holds a ladle over a steel pot of white rice. Several people stand in the background, and a bald man in white with a golden-bordered shawl serves food in the centre. Steel vessels and bowls of yellow curry fill the foreground.

A photograph of a communal meal service under a covered open-sided shelter with a bamboo-mat ceiling. A row of people in white clothing serve food from steel vessels on a counter, ladling dal or curry into a stainless-steel bowl. In the foreground on the left, a woman in a white sari with orange border serves from a tray. On the right, a smiling man wearing rimless glasses, an orange shawl and a rudraksha mala stands beside a man in white with a yellow-bordered shawl. Other attendees in white and orange stoles line the serving counter.

A photograph inside a plain room with cream walls and a grey tiled floor. A man in a saffron-orange kurta with a maroon-edged dhoti or wrap stands at left, holding a small packet or cloth in both hands and wearing a silver bangle. At right, a woman in a white sari with gold and maroon border bends forward, lighting a brass oil lamp shaped like a bird on the floor. A wooden wall shrine holding a brass dish with flowers hangs at upper right, and a green curtain shows at the window at left. The man's appearance does not qualify as a recognisable candidate, so the role is given as a man in saffron clothing.

A person in a white kurta with an orange shawl draped over the shoulders stands at a kitchen counter, stirring or spooning food from a steel pan on a gas stove. Pots and pans sit on the countertop, a steel pressure cooker stands near the barred window, and plastic bags of vegetables and a basket lie on the left. The figure's face is turned downward toward the cooking work, and the scene is an ordinary ashram kitchen with cooking in progress.

A photograph of a food-serving line in a plain indoor hall with a concrete floor and a red-and-white painted wall. In the foreground an elderly woman with white hair, glasses, a white sari with a green border and an orange shawl, and a young man in white clothes with a yellow shawl and sacred thread, both stand behind a long steel counter ladling food from large stainless steel pots. A young girl in an orange and white dress with pigtails holds out a steel plate to receive the food. Behind them, two other people in pink and blue clothing hold plates, and a large water container stands on the counter. The scene suggests a communal meal service.

A photograph of a food-serving scene in a plain grey-walled hall. An older man in a white shirt with a red tilak on his forehead and a gold bangle serves rice from a steel pot with a ladle. Beside him a man in saffron-orange robes wears a long pink and yellow marigold garland and serves orange food from a large steel bowl. Behind them a bare-chested man in white dhoti is working, and a woman in a cream and gold patterned shawl holds a steel plate, smiling. Stacked steel plates and a pot sit on the counter, with a small framed picture on the side wall and a green garden visible through a doorway.
