A close photograph of a gleaming gold-coloured statue, a standing figure with long swept-back hair and its right palm raised in blessing, being anointed. A hand holding a green tender coconut pours water over the statue's head, with droplets spraying from the crown of the head. The background is softly blurred with orange and green tones. The statue depicts a figure, not a living person, and its features are not attributed to any identified individual.

The statue's face shows dark eyebrows and kohl-lined eyes, and the background is blurred with orange and green tones. This is a photograph of a statue, so the depicted figure is a depiction in statue form, and only the hands of one person are visible.2010-12-19December 19 20102010-12-19 +1 copiesDecember 19 20102010-12-19A golden statue of a long-haired, bare-chested male figure with one hand raised in blessing is being anointed. A hand wearing a gold bracelet with green and red stones pours liquid from a brass vessel over the statue's head, and the liquid streams down the face, hair, chest and shoulders. The statue wears a dhoti-style cloth tied at the waist. The scene is an abhishekam of a statue, not a living person.2010-12-19 +1 copiesA photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a golden statue. The priest wears gold bangles and a gold ornament at his waist, and his left arm extends toward the statue. Behind them are purple drapes, garlands of yellow and magenta flowers, a white cloth with pink border and a seated figure in orange robes on a dais. Brass vessels and oil lamps sit on the stone platform, consistent with abhishekam. The statue depicts a figure, not a person physically present; the seated figure is distant and only partly visible.2010-12-19December 19 20102010-12-19
