The man wears orange robes and a red-and-white flower garland, with long dark hair, and holds a white fly-whisk or chamara. The chariot's side panels are painted in bright red, yellow, blue and green with white dove motifs, and it is hung with marigold and white flower garlands, orange-yellow umbrella canopies and orange ceremonial flags. Around the chariot, people in white clothes walk in the crowd, including women in saris and men in white shirts, with a red tractor visible in the background. Attributed to the figure on the throne by appearance: the seated man has long hair and saffron-orange clothing with a garland, so the description's probable identity cue is saffron robes and long hair.2009-12-29A photograph of an outdoor procession with a golden ratha-style palanquin decorated with marigold and jasmine garlands, tassels and a golden canopy with a yellow fringed umbrella.
