A photograph of a rural relief scene on a raised concrete platform in front of a turquoise-painted building with a dark wooden door and a small barred window. Several men in everyday clothes are working: one in a white shirt and checked lungi bends over bundled fabric, another in a white shirt and pink-and-white lungi stands at the doorway, a bare-chested young man in a checked lungi bends over a blue-and-pink cloth, a man in a white vest and checked lungi stands at the platform edge, and a seated older man in a grey shirt and lungi sits at the right. A child in a yellow-striped top and blue shorts leans over the platform at the lower left.
