Several boys in striped, blue and grey shirts eat from white plates of rice and curry, with glasses of water and an orange bottle on the table. A girl in the background sits among them, and a wooden shelf holds steel jugs and small vases of flowers at the right. The setting suggests a communal meal serving rather than a ritual.

A dining hall with white walls and fluorescent lights, where children and a few adults sit at long tables covered with colourful patterned cloths. Red and white plastic chairs surround the tables, and metal plates and bowls of food, with sliced fruit and leaves, are set out. Several women in saris and a man in a white shirt move among the diners, and paper decorations hang on the wall.

No a person candidate is visible, and no printed name appears in the scene.

Indoor dining hall during a meal. Two boys sit at a white plastic chair at a table covered with a fruit-printed tablecloth. The boy on the left wears an orange kurta and points upward with one finger while smiling, and a steel thali with small bowls sits in front of him. The boy beside him wears a cream shirt and eats from a steel plate. Behind them, a woman in a green and maroon sari walks past, and other children and women sit at tables in the background.

A photograph of a group of women and girls seated at long tables with plates of food in a bright, warmly decorated dining hall. Several people in colourful salwar kameez and saris eat together, with some serving or sitting in a row along a long table. Plates of rice, bread and side dishes sit in front of them, and an orange and gold decorated wall with a painted arch forms the backdrop. The setting suggests a communal meal served at an ashram or satsang gathering.
