A man with long, swept-back dark hair and glasses, wearing a white dhoti-style garment with a green-bordered shawl, holds a silver bowl in one hand and a spoon in the other, offering food from the spoon to a woman in a deep maroon sari with gold border who holds out her hands. Behind them an elderly woman in a purple sari sits on a wooden chair, and a woman in a red top stands in the doorway. A sofa is at left.

A man in a saffron-orange robe with a white flower garland and red flower garland sits on a white-draped sofa, one hand raised toward a kneeling man in a light blue shirt and white dhoti who bows with palms pressed together. A woman in a maroon sari with gold border kneels on the right, holding offerings, and a young man in white with a yellow shawl stands behind. A red tray of fruit, flowers and sweets sits in front of the seated figure, and a patterned rug covers the floor. Appearance-based cues on the seated saffron-robed man, including the long hair and garland, make him a person; he is seated, not shown on a screen, and his identity is uncertain.2010-02-17Indoor scene in a hall with a red banner on the wall behind. A seated person in a red shawl with embroidered motifs reaches out and touches the forehead of an older man in a blue fleece jacket with orange garment at his neck, who bows with hands folded. A woman in a white sari with red border stands beside them holding a plate of fruit, and a metal tray of offerings sits nearby. Other seated people in orange and red clothing are visible in the background.2012-07-21A long-haired man in an orange saffron robe sits on an orange cushioned seat and presses his right palm to the forehead of an elderly woman in a magenta and gold-bordered sari. She holds a folded white cloth to her face and has a red kumkum mark on her forehead. Behind them a man in a white shirt with an orange-red shawl stands watching, and a woman in a white sari with a rudraksha-style necklace stands nearby. A gold-handled staff or ritual implement rests in the saffron-robed man's left hand. The hall has white walls, a red curtain at left, and a ceiling fan and hanging decoration in the background. The orange-robed man is a person candidate by appearance: long swept-back curly hair and saffron robes, with no crown, malas or gold necklace clearly visible, so this is marked unsure.2010-06-30July 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesA photograph of devotees honouring a seated man on a white-sheeted bed in a plain room with cream walls and a wall fan. He wears an orange saffron robe and a garland of white and red flowers, with long dark hair swept back, and he extends his hand toward a woman in a red-and-cream patterned sari who bows and holds an offering. Around them stand several women and men: a woman in white with a ruffled top bends forward, a woman in a turquoise salwar kameez and orange shawl watches, and a man in cream kurta with a rudraksha mala stands smiling. A tray with sweets sits on the bed beside him, and a small floral arrangement lies near the bed. Appearance-based cues on the seated man (saffron robe, long swept-back hair, garland) are compatible with Swamiji (probable), seated and receiving pada pooja from devotees.2009-09-10A photograph of a devotee's home ceremony in Karaikudi. Seated on the right, a person in a saffron-orange robe and a saffron-orange head wrap with a long wooden rudraksha-style mala smiles while an older woman in a magenta blouse and green-and-gold sari leans forward with cupped hands toward a metal bowl of pink petals and water. Standing behind them, a man in white kurta and a woman in a white sari with a red bindi and red necklace hold a small silver cup and bowl, with other people in red, teal and purple saris and orange garments standing in the background near a green-painted wooden grille and a framed picture on the wall.January 11 20102010-01-11 +1 copiesA photograph of four people in a living room with cream curtains, a framed picture on the wall and a brown sofa. On the right, a figure with long dark hair tied up wears a saffron-orange wrap, a rudraksha mala and a leopard-print garment, holding a silver bowl of apples and oranges. Facing them, an elderly man in a white kurta and glasses smiles, and a woman in a green and yellow patterned sari stands beside him. On the left, a bald man in glasses wears a rudraksha mala and a red-brown robe. A brass lamp stands on a table nearby.2014-04-03March 15 20142014-03-15
