A life-sized lifelike figure seated on an ornate gold-leafed throne with a red cushioned seat and a gold arch behind, beneath a sloped roof with a red tiled edge. The figure wears a black crown with white and red decoration, a red bindi, layered silver and jewelled necklaces, a red and brown dhoti-style garment, and holds a bamboo staff in one hand while the other palm is raised in blessing. A garland of red, yellow and white flowers hangs from the shoulders. Gold lion figures flank the throne and gold trishula standards stand on either side. The figure is an effigy, not a living person, set on a green carpeted floor with white cloth bundles at the right edge.2017-03-11March 11 20172017-03-11July 23 20212021-07-23May 10 20172017-05-10August 02 20132013-08-02May 14 20152015-05-14 +1 copiesJanuary 19 20132013-01-19A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate golden throne (peetha) framed by a carved gilded arch with a makara-style crest, backed by gold draped curtains.
