Behind and around him, seated and standing devotees in white and orange clothing watch; a man in a white kurta and white dhoti stands at right with hands folded in greeting. Several people in white and orange clothing fill the foreground and background. The scene appears to be a procession or darshan event. Appearance-based candidate seated on the palanquin in orange robes with a red shawl and long dark hair; probable identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2006-12-30Photograph taken in a dimly lit open-sided shelter with a corrugated metal roof and orange triangular pennants overhead. A figure with long dark hair wears an orange robe and a red and pink flower garland, seated on a golden Nandi-style bull seat draped with yellow, white and purple flower garlands. Seated devotees in white clothing sit on the floor below, and a man in white with a camera stands at right. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, saffron robe and garlands, matching the page's event context, so the appearance-based label applies to the central seated person.2006-12-30
