A large street procession moves through a city road lined with shops and parked red cars. Banners in pink, white and red carry Kannada text, and one pink banner is dated 20-2-2007 and reads Mysuru. Many people walk shoulder to shoulder: men in white shirts and dhotis, women in salwar kameez and headscarves in blue, pink and green, and some in saffron. Several hold up handheld placards with Kannada writing. A white banner reads NURSING. Most marchers are in the foreground and middle ground, and their faces are visible. The scene suggests a public march with many participants.
