A photograph of a group of women in saris standing on a dirt ground outside a blue-walled building with a red-roofed entrance, beside a coconut palm. Several women wear orange, pink, purple and white saris with gold borders; the woman at centre wears a plain white sari and a red beaded necklace. The woman second from right in an orange-and-red sari holds a decorated brass tray of flowers or offerings. A blue bus with a painted deity image stands behind them, and a green-and-yellow board with Tamil script is visible. Men in white dhotis stand at the edges. The scene appears to be part of a ratha yatra procession.
