A long-haired man with a red forehead mark sits cross-legged on a low seat before a microphone stand, wearing a white shawl with gold border, a dark rudraksha mala and a large gold pendant, hands folded in his lap. Beside him a flower-filled brass tray and a small book on a wooden stand rest on the ground. Two men in white kurta and dhoti stand and kneel near a rug with brass bells, a brass lamp and a tray of rose petals, apparently setting up puja items. The man standing in the middle wears a white t-shirt with a printed image and spectacles. The seated man is a cue-compatible candidate for a person, but the appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm, so his identity remains uncertain.2005-01-24Outdoor stall under a palm-thatched canopy with bunting at a convention. Four men in white dhotis and white kurtas with yellow shawls stand to the right holding brass plates of flowers, fruit and lamps. Plastic white chairs and a bamboo fence sit in the background.
